Entice Customers to Buy, Focus on Benefits

If you are promoting a new product of any kind, be it a weight loss miracle or a fascinating dog training workshop, the focus should be on the end user. Customers need to subconsciously develop a need for it because they can’t see living without the benefits it will bring to them. Your primary points should be clear of what the product will give to your potential customers.
For instance, if you have a dog training workshop, evoke a sense of relief in your customers by clearly presenting how it will improve their quality of life. Are they losing sleep every night because the dog just won’t stop barking? The transformation your dog training workshop will produce will enable the customer to have long, dream filled nights and awaking completely refreshed.
Once you have them believing that they absolutely have to have your product, you’ll need to be able to justify the price. This is especially true if there are similar products or services already on the market at a lower or equal price. Why should they pay more for yours, or choose yours over an equally priced competitor? What makes your product or service so darn special? You will need to do some research and know who you are competing against. Find at least one to let yours outshine. If you are selling weight loss products, think about the weight loss supplements that are flooding store shelves at the moment. What is it about your product that makes it more effective, quicker, longer lasting, or safer than the others? You will need to identify these characteristics to convince the consumers that the price is worth it.
If you concentrate on implementing the above practices, you will surely see a boost in your customer base and profits. It is really easy to lose your way and feel there is nothing to do to make your product a success. In reality, there is always something you can do, and these are the most important. Of course, no matter what you do you will never convince everyone to buy. Just remember two basic concepts; connect and communicate with your customers. Some other things you may want to consider to increase your sales:
• Omit unnecessary information: Grab their attention, give them the benefits and pertinent information. You don’t want to lose their interest simply because they get lost in a jumble of ramblings.
• Know your product from the inside out: Many customers will have questions after reading about your product, or want to verify what they have learned. If they catch you stumbling around for time to come up with an answer, you will probably lose the sale. Be ready for anything!
• Make it easy to order: Do everything you can to make the ordering process easy to understand. Minimize the amount of time it takes to order, and offer plentiful alternatives. Ensure contact information is highly visible for the customer who may be in a rush, so they can easily come back to you. Offer various means of contact as well as ordering methods.
• Have samples: Be able to provide a sample if possible when a customer asks. Many people like to test something out before obligating themselves to buying.
If you take everything here and put it into action you are sure to be happy with the results!
